The food was great! They were pretty busy and we didn't have a reservation but we were seated in 10 minutes. Our waitress was very nice and explained the menu well. It took quite a while for the food to come out but the wait is definitely worth it. We had the octopus salad for an appetizer and then pernil with arroz con gandules and the chipotle shrimp bowl for our entrees. The food portions are great and you can tell the meal was made by someone who takes pride in their cooking. Parking: Because it's a fairly small place the parking can be a bit tight when it's busy.
As a WASP, I can't comment on the authenticity of the Puerto Rican cuisine, but my girlfriend and I found the food to be absolutely delicious, and we would definitely return. The portion sizes are generous, and the slice of coconut rum cake I had for dessert was easily large enough to share. The service was friendly and casual, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The ambiance is relaxed; if there's such a thing as a Puerto Rican pub, this would be it. Note that it's a BYOB establishment, so be sure to bring your own drinks. We strongly recommend making reservations.
I am so thrilled to have discovered this restaurant! I’ve been on the hunt for authentic Puerto Rican cuisine for what feels like forever, and I can’t believe I hadn’t tried this place sooner. I will definitely return because the food is simply outstanding. The staff is incredibly friendly, the restaurant is BYOB, and the prices are quite reasonable. The café con leche is robust and serves as the perfect finale to an exquisite meal. The portions are very generous and bursting with flavor. It’s a fantastic spot to enjoy with friends and family!
This is the cutest, cleanest and most adorable PR restaurant I've been to! When the food came out, I thought it was my mom's cooking because it was that yummy! Everything we ordered was fresh, nice and hot and not greasy at all. I will definitely be returning and bringing everyone I know with me. Parking: Huge parking lot available. This place is incredible! The staff was super friendly and attentive. We had a big group and they made us feel comfortable with the perfect room. Make sure you have a reservation and you will not regret it! All we have was super fresh and delicious. We can't wait back!!
I attempted to dine here on Thursday at 5:30 PM, but the restaurant was closed. The posted hours for today indicated they should be open from 12 PM to 7 PM. We were quite disappointed.
The service was excellent, and the food was delicious. The ambiance has a wonderfully warm feel. I brought some friends for their first visit, and they were thoroughly impressed!
