Great place to sit down and have a light meal! Located inside of Union Market, there are plenty of seats to sit at the bar and order from. They have a nice menu that range from breakfast to brunch and more.The Food: I had to go with the trusty favorite of mine, The Original bagel. The Original Bagel comes with cream cheese, capers, red onions and Lox. You're able to choose what bagel you'd like and any additional add ons as well. The bagel was toasted perfectly and the flavor of all the ingredients together made a delicious bagel. Yummy! The bagel was perfectly prepared and this eatery offers creative combinations. I appreciated another customer's observation that the sandwiches are wonderfully messy! The staff was warm and welcoming, and the restaurant was charming with both indoor and outdoor seating options. Additionally, I want to mention that they offer gluten-free plain and everything bagels. The staff was extremely considerate and understanding of my mother's allergy, even though I had forgotten to mention it; they made sure to separate her gluten-free sandwich in its own bag. We were truly thankful. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back if I have the opportunity!
This bagel joint is a casual spot where you can order at the counter. The service is friendly and the bagels are deliciously messy. I tried the "in your face" breakfast sandwich, which had a sunny side up egg over mozzarella cheese and pesto spread with hot salami. I wish I had utensils because I don't like getting my fingers dirty. I also saw some other customers ordering a Bloody Mary and it looked really good.
When did you hear the last time someone complained that their meal was too big? so was the salmon and cream cheese bag. I could only eat half and it was actually the most delicious food I found on the union market so far. it was filled with salmon and cream cheese and the cats were a great note. the prizes still seem to be very steep, but I will not deny what they pay for. This was the best breakfast and sandwich I have ever had! It was a taste explosion that you absolutely must try! The menu has a wide variety of options, including gluten-free bagels. The service was top-notch, with friendly staff (shoutout to TJ) and the whole crew. Thank you for a fantastic, delicious meal and overall great experience!
Stylish old school bagel joint in the corner of Union Market. Charming gentleman served us at the counter. Bagel quality passed muster with this born and bred New Yorker. Looks very popular for locals and tourists alike.
best breakfast sandwich in dc by a wide margin. workers are extremely polite. sometimes takes awhile to get your food because it is not a secret how good it is. recommend ordering online beforehand.
