This was a surprise. I truly wanted to love the West Linn location of Bugattis. I had been to the Oregon City location which was divine. I bragged to my husband about the food, the bread and the experience in Oregon City. Not the same experience. Not the same menu. Not the same bread. My husband's lasagna was sticky pasta. As a fine cook myself, the pasta was way overcooked to a mush consistency. Not that zesty full Italian flavors of the Oregon City location. My meal was just okay. The bread was a sliced bread, they said it was homemade but again the homemade bread in Oregon City was divine. The menu completely different. Bless the servers. They were wonderful. Last quarter of 2012 Lydia Bugatti, chef and founder retired. Until she left it was wonderful. Since she left management and chef has turned over at least once and the food has declined to a level which should not command even a third of the prices charged. I gave them three chances. I shall never eat there again. Several friends feel the same way.
Go during their happy hour; sample a few of the appetizers and make it a fun dinner! The patio seating is also really nice on a warm afternoon. The server really made our dinner special. Shannon was really amazing and always asked about what we might need. She was attractive and pleasant each time she showed up. I would love to have her serve me all the time no matter the occasion. Can't wait to have her again Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
