We went to this Pub as it was recommended to us. The Interior of the pub was clean, warm and welcoming. We were greeted with a great friendly smile from the staff. We ordered a Ultimate Roast and a Ultimate Veg Roast, and some drinks of course. We found the vegatables which comes with the roasts were a bare minimum (2 small florets of brockly just fitted both on one tablespoon. We were told there was parsnips with the veg roast but to my amazement we couldn't find them in the plate. The meats (Gammon and Pork were cold and tough, at first I thought it was shoe leather but shoe leather was softer and easier to cut. The amount of gravy we got was barely enough for one person let alone two peop...
Lovely spot for lunch on a weekday. Food was really good and reasonably priced too. Service was lovely and they looked after myself and my team, even though we turned up unannounced behind two pretty large pre-booked parties. There was a very acceptable wait for food/drinks and at no point did we feel like we were delayed in any way. Edited review as didn't realise I'd clicked 4 and not 5 stars!
10 of us went here yesterday for lunch diner. Everyone really enjoyed their food and the service was really good. Also dog friendly which is a big plus and unlike other pubs locally (like the brookmans) you can sit anywhere with them. Will defo be back soon. Thanks very much!
Delightful pub with delicious food and great service. The curved layout is deceptive and it can feel cozy by the fire or seat lots of us for Christmas lunch. We've just thoroughly enjoyed a festive lunch at the Builders Arms. It was a lovely meal, service was quick, polite and friendly. Even though it was very busy. We'll done. Thankyou to Tina and the team for a fantastic experience.
Very average. Good beer and food and service. Very quiet so able hear the staff discussing business about Pub targets, budgets etc. Customers should not have to hear such chat.
Beautiful pub. Spacious interior with fascinating decor and large exterior. Amazing staff who were so helpful and accommodating. We will be back soon!
