Bulla has been one of our favorite places for years but unfortunately things seem to have changed. I can only imagine that the place is under new management since our experience was so different. We went for dinner on Friday night and immediately notice a couple things. A big sign saying that they no longer accepted cash, just credit cards. The other was that it was much slower than it used to be on a Friday at 7:30, and we now know why. The food was still good outside the the churros we had for desert that tasted like freezer burnt twigs. The problem was everything else. Once again, an amazing experience! I wanted to introduce my adult children to your restaurant, so we visited on Father's Day. Alex was our server, and like all the servers I have encountered at your Tampa location, Alex was exceptional! The food once again stole the show, and my children thoroughly enjoyed it too! It was a wonderful experience spending time with my children at my favorite restaurant, indulging in my favorite dishes. It was a true escape for me and my family. Thank you so much for the Bulla experience!
food was average, the cheeses and meats are poor quality. margarita was terrible. they ragged about using only fresh juices, but I believe the lime juice was spoiled. gin and tonic served in wine glass? server called us and all her other tables my lovely's very annoying -though she was very attentive. couple got into a verbal argument at bar using loud foul language- staff did nothing and in fact continued to serve them . overall a very average place- nothing special.
We had reservations for 12:15 but had to wait an extra 30 minutes before being seated. The service was slower than usual due to the busy crowds. However, once we had our drinks, the food arrived promptly and it was delicious. It must have just been a busy day, so I would definitely come back again.

Our serverâs name was Kristina and she made the whole experience so much better. Her quick response made us want more food, which was delicious, and her attitude left us wanting to come back as soon as possible.
This was my second visit to Bulla and this experience was just as great as my first experience our server Andrea was phenomenal. I love, love, love this place. Already planning another visit next month.
Tried 3 different Paella’s all were scorched, greasy and lacking flavor. Reservation at 3. Didn’t sit until 3:25. Very unorganized. Seated in a back overflow vestibule and seemingly forgotten about.
Great food and an alternative to our favorite restaurant in st pete called ceviche. Food is always on points and the service is fabulous.
