The chicken piece is probably the thickest I've ever seen from Burger King, and it was truly delicious! However, one side was noticeably thicker than the other, which meant it wasn’t evenly cooked throughout. The coating was pretty good, although I felt it might have been cooked a bit too long. This is a franchise Burger King, and it's well-managed and consistently busy. They always get my order right and serve fresh food every time. Plus, it's located right in the heart of Cape Town, which is a rare find! Sometimes, franchises can outperform corporate locations.
Took me 25 mins to to go through the drive thru. It seemed like they were under staffed for that time. Service time could definitely be better and increase in manpower for busy hours might help with that. Hopefully this was a one-time thing.
For a fast food restaurant, the service was surprisingly slow. I ended up waiting over 30 minutes in line just to order a single Whopper. I wouldn’t recommend this spot for a lunch break, especially since I went after noon.
