If you are looking for a cut above just pub grub this is your place. The kitchen is open, serving from a great variety of dishes from breakfast to appetizers, fresh cut fries, fish or prime rib. My favorite is Philly Steak with fresh cut fries by Willy. Daily specials on the board. Adult beverages are always available, and family dining is welcome. T.V., Keno, and live entertainment as scheduled. If you have an issue call and speak with John Burns, owner.
My sandwich arrived four minutes before my mother’s, which allowed it to cool to an unappetizing temperature. It was only then that the server remembered to place our order for the Hand Cut Fries. Eight minutes later, we received some soggy potato sticks that tasted like they had been soaked in old frying oil. The total bill, including the usual 20% tip, came to $27.50. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all!
The food was tasty, even though it wasn’t what I had ordered. The prices are reasonable, and the service is friendly. The atmosphere is just right—it's a charming "hole in the wall" that appeals to the working class. There’s no pretentiousness at all. As an added bonus, they ensure your safety while you’re there.
Loud, but the food is *really* worth it. I had the Burnsie burger and waffle fries and my wife got the Swiss mushroom burger and hand-cut fries. Fantastic as always! Probably don't want to talk it up too much for fear of not getting a seat when the craving hits... Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
I had my first meal there and tried the Burnie burger along with the potato soup. A big thank you to Cindy for suggesting this spot! I’ll definitely be returning.
I had a fantastic time at Great Homie! The atmosphere was fun, the music was excellent, and I highly recommend trying the T-Bone dinner. It was incredible!
Good food, quickly made. Awesome drinks, wish there were more cider options but that's hard to come by these days
