The Burrendah Tavern is very popular, especially on a Friday night. Our group of 4 were walk-ins and we were lucky to get a table for a limited time. We had a function to go to so this suited us as did the efficiency with...which the staff got us seated. We ordered meals and drinks and were impressed with the service and the speed with which the meals arrived, especially as it was so busy. Absolutely worst experience I have ever had at a so called restaurant/ eatery. Ordered chicken Cobb salad for $25 what turned up was a plate of soppy iceberg lettuce with huge chunks of tomato and NO chicken. Upon taking the menu and my plate of...lettuce to the counter to ask why wasn’t there any chicken I was told bluntly “well I don’t know what youve eaten” He then took my plate to the kitchen and 5 minutes later came back out claiming the chef had forgotten the chicken! Absolutely disgusting food and service And that’s an understatement I will never go there agsin
Went there and ordered a steak burger. It stated 200g of angus rump is part odf the steak burger. like 50g! So next time I went I ordered the top of the menu wood fired pizza with extra toppings and paid extra money. When...it was delivered on my table it was basically a circular piece of pastry. I immediately took it back and demanded my money back. The bloke tried to justify it had extra toppings. Never again will I go there. Far too overpriced and if your hungry you dont get fed.
found some friends there. our orders came out at different times despite the simultaneous ordering. all the food was discouraging. pizzas were tasteless and the teig was soft as if he had been fought. we had 3 pizzas and all were the same. there was minimal topping and was not wood-fired pizza according to claim. it tasted like a frozen pizza, but they pay $26 for. chips did not come with any sauces. there were a couple of times, and that's just gonna get worse. never go back.

first visit I had steak (me) and my wife had cobb chicken. on this Friday I had pollo al function and the woman had spaghetti al again, excellent eating and service. as I said to a coworker who asked how that was eating, my final judgment is: “Do I think again?” and I would absolutely. we have another appointment there in two weeks and go back.
Second visit in a matter of weeks. Staff very helpful. Arrival of meals was a bit slow. Chicken parmigiana was not as succulent as last visit. Fish was a bit overcooked. Lunch time special lamb Kofta with pitta bread and salad lamb was very...dry Apple pie was lovely, as was banana split and Affogato.
beautiful meals sweet tajine was superb, very nice fish of the day, burger, etc. more spacious, comfortable escaping area and beer garden. service was super friendly and helpful we had a wonderful family meal for all age groups.
if they want a pizza from their menu, it is more economical to order a “Kids” pizza instead of a regular adult pizza, as the “Kids” pizza is the same size as the adult pizza and is several dollar cheaper.

Fantastic menu service excellent had a great day our party of 16 had no complaints will be coming back next time we have a family get together will tell my friends about it
Took some of the gents from our retirement village for a meal and did not get a single whinge which says a lot
