Oh, Burrito Republic! How to express my love for you? Lori (owner and chef) is such a sweetheart and huge personality, and truly cares about the food she makes. I swear to you, I have eaten a “build your own” burrito she made and I could taste the love!! I’ve had the Vegan Mole (a marinated cauliflower based creation), which is to die for, only don’t die until after you’ve had the Soo Cal (steak based) so you can die happy and with no regrets. The agua fresca is always perfection on a summer day, and their outdoor seating area is charming and comfortable. Best burritos I’ve ever had. Period. Lori: don’t go changin’!
Lori is an amazing individual and her passion shows in everything that she does. I’ve been a regular here since she started the business and I was also a patron at her previous venture as well. The time and effort that she puts into every single detail is truly astounding, on top of the fact that she’s able to maintain that level of quality so consistently. Would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a great meal made by people who take pride in their work!
This restaurant in Ridgewood, Queens is a fantastic food spot! I often come here for lunch breaks when I'm working. As someone from Texas, I can confidently say that they do an excellent job. The business is woman-owned, which is great to see. They recommended adding potatoes to my egg tacos, and I have been hooked ever since. The staff is always sweet and friendly. I also appreciate that their delivery staff always wave to me when I see them on the street.
first time coming here ever on a less busy day and had the pleasure of chatting with the owner lori! she is clearly very passionate and her menu is well thought out and researched, i even got a taste of her chipotle coleslaw which was delish. the carnitas really are bomb like the sign outside says. also both the red sauce and green sauce were divine! i will be coming back soon! Have to say….you’ll never know who you’ll run in to here. It could be friends or celebs. And while it doesn’t matter cause you’ll come back. That’s how you know it’s staple. Love this place. Thank you guys for being true to flavors and exceptional service. Can’t wait to come in again.
Amazing big BIG burritos. Delicious and flavorful. They have a very nice extensive menu, you could build your own burrito, and there are many options for vegans as well.
Excellent Nachos, extensive menu with lots of vegan options. Great food that doesn’t take too long and a really nice staff. Highly recommend supporting this place.
