We visited on a Saturday evening at around 8:30 PM for the first time. The venue was crowded but we were fortunate enough to get seated within 10 mins, half the time we were told it would be. As we passed the prime seating areas and spacious booths, wewere led to the back of the restaurant in front of a high service traffic area...less than ideal. Not to mention, to one sideof us, was an area with seats and other furniture and tables clothes stacked haphazardly. That view plus the view on ouropposite side of three tables that had yet to be cleared after other patrons had dine provided a stark contrasting picture towhat would be an overall great dining experience. Nice steak and fish restaurant with a beautiful kitchen and bar and it is interesting watching all the work that goes into preparing your meals. Not a large menu, mix of fish, sandwiches, and steaks. Did not like that salad and soup was extra over the relatively high cost of a dinner. I ordered a 14 oz rib eye steak that was really good and got broccoli and green beans for $44 but the house crab bisque was an extra $13 which seemed way too much for me. Our waitress was friendly and efficient and overall I recommend Burtons Grill.

This place is one of those restaurants you wish was on every corner. As a celiac, an establishment that takes allergies 100% seriously is a rare find. This place goes above and beyond. Place is phenomenal. Gluten free menu and very knowledgeable about food allergies. They take them very seriously. Just fantastic food as well. Just a shame we are only in town visiting because we would love to make this a regular place to visit. I highly recommend this restaurant, especially if you are a celiac. You won’t be disappointed.
One of the most beautiful places I've ever eaten. My wife and I love visiting Burtons when we're in Alexandria. The food is excellent and the service is exceptional. Friendly staff. As good as the steaks are, our favorite of the reubs is. Unfortunately, it is seasonal and turns on and off the menu. So keep it as long as it stops!

Food was delicious! Customer service was pretty good. We had a great time and I would highly recommend. Everyone ate all of their food! I appreciate that they took food allergies very seriously.
