I absolutely love this place!! My grandparents used to live in Floral Park, and I can't believe my mom never took us there before! I decided to stop in at the Manhasset location today on a whim, just wanting some good coffee, but ended up being blown away by how amazing and well-made everything looked. The staff was very friendly and attentive, despite being quite busy for a mid-week early evening. Not many bakeries or catering delis handle to-go orders and larger event orders well, but this place did a fantastic job. Today, I visited the Manhasset location for brunch with a friend. When we arrived at the bakery, there were hardly any other customers present. Unfortunately, we were completely ignored by all of the bakery staff, who seemed to be idle. Upon requesting a menu, we were met with a particularly impolite waitress. Despite this, we decided to place an order and were pleasantly surprised by the delicious taste of our food. We even opted to purchase some pastries to take with us. However, when we returned to order more, it seemed as though we were giving the bakery more business, we were once again met with a lack of customer service.
This restaurant is a must-visit for me since I am in the area once or twice a month. They offer a wide variety of high-quality options and have a dedicated staff. Whether I'm getting a whole cake for a party or just a single item, everything is always delicious. They cater to both kids and more sophisticated palates with their menu offerings. I visited today and noticed that they have recently renovated the place. It looks great, just like everything else about this restaurant.
NOT FRESH An average bakery, with a sizable area for sit down. I?ve bought their cookies in the past (at least a decade) and remembered they were good. Both cakes are old: Tiramisu isn't too sweet which I like (Iavarone Bros? is better) and cheese cake is so so too, not even close to Veniero?s Pasticceria Caffe on 11th Street in the city. If you want a surprise for your wedding cake , this is the bakery to order from! We specifically stated what flavors we wanted for the filling, and the color of the decorative flowers on the cake. Both were COMPLETELY WRONG, and we reached out multiple times with NO REPLY. Thank god the wedding was memorable because the Cake surely wasn?t. Very disappointed in you guys for getting both the inside and outside of cake incorrect. Oh, and not to mention the cake price
There are so many delicious options at this restaurant, including the Red velvet croissant, cakes, and Cheese Danish. The assortment of cakes is extensive, and fellow customers in line always have helpful suggestions. The wait is worth it, and you won't be disappointed.
The bakery is delicious but a bit pricey. I bought a babka/bobka (not sure how to spell it) for my father-in-law and it was amazing. It was perfectly moist and not too dry.
I am aware that my favorite bakery has a branch in Manhasset to this day. The location is conveniently near my new optometrist's office, making it easily accessible.
