I went here because I got recommendations on where to get the best red velvet cake so I went there for a cake for my daughters birthday. We all liked the red velvet with the cream cheese frosting. T was not overly sweet and the frosting worked well. I didn't like the red jelly type of topping and believe they cake to velvet ratio is under my ideal but I appreciate the flavors. In my opinion there should be more cake and less frosting inside the cake and it should instead be topped with the frosting and not the red jelly. We ordered my son’s birthday cake here, absolute disaster. The decorations fell off the cake by the time we got to our venue. Even after transporting with all the precautions. Cake was not secured to the board so kept sliding off not matter how careful we were during transport. Poor response to complaints,they simply said it’s not our responsibility. How can they not be responsible for things falling off.!!! Taste was mediocre, dry cake.

I have been a customer for the last few years and this is my fifth and final custom cake. The cake was delivered filthy and damaged as seen in the attached pictures. The cake was 495$ with an 85$ delivery fee. The bakery was given plenty of opportunities to rectify this but instead blamed the venue who had the cake in its possession for twenty minutes. Please re-think ordering and having a cake delivered from Buttercooky.
I have been shopping from this bakery for the past year for every birthday or other important family occasions. Unfortunately the quality of their cake went down significantly recently. They call it “new design”, but what it means is a lower quality with a higher price. For example, their canoli cake now has only one layer of conoli filling and the other layers are just cream. Never coming back here!

Great little bakery in downtown Huntington. My wife and I got an assortment of baked goods to try as well as a coffee. The baked goods looked amazing and tasted great.
