Dies ist ein sehr schöner Ort für einen Drink oder eine einfache, aber leckere Mahlzeit auf der Terrasse am See. In den Wintermonaten ist es geschlossen. Sie haben Tagesgerichte, die ich noch nicht probiert habe, die aber sehr beliebt zu sein scheinen, da das Lokal zu den Essenszeiten normalerweise voll ist. This is a very nice place for a drink or simple but tasty meal on the terrace by the lake. It's closed during the Winter months. They have daily specials, which I haven't tried yet, but which seem very popular as the place is usually full at meal times. We usually come with our grand children for pizza, burgers and fries or sandwiches in the afternoon. The Buvette serves nice beers, including BfM (Biere des Franches Montagnes,) an excellent artisan beer which comes in several varieties, my favourite being the Blanche (white beer.) This is one of our most 'tried and tested' regularly frequented restaurants in Neuchâtel and in my view offers one if the best value menus, in an informal setting with its fabulous lakeside situation and view of the lake and Neuchatel. I was most recently there with work colleagues and friends for a relaxed informal meal on a warm balmy summer's evening; four of us had pizzas and one had the hamburger and as always the thin crust pizzas were tasty and excellent. This is one of our most regular summer haunts particularly for Sunday evening meal with family and friends. Location right on the lake, at the St Blaise harbour, with a kids playground, boule area, and also a large area of grass to kick a football etc makes it an ideal venue for families with kids and teenagers. Also great for cycling, skateboarding, and of course swimming. Pizzas are a speciality of the buvette but there are lots of other popular dishes including steak tartare, and fish from the lake. Pretty essential to book in the summer when its hot and sunny!
Friendly staff. Good food. Large playground by the lake for kids to play. Nothing not to like about this place. It is lakeside dinning done well. Easy, relaxing, simple. All dishes were enjoyed from local fish, to pizza to calamari. Reasonable prices for the location and country. Lots of umbrellas for shade outside. Nice bike ride along the lake to get her from our hotel.
The spot is lovely for a family, the terrace is right next to a beautiful playground near the lake shore. Pizzas are delicious, especially the one with buffalo cheese. Very nice place in summer.

If you have kids, you'll love this place in summer! Facing a big playground, the Buvette is located in the harbour of St-Blaise. Lovely spot, friendly staff, great food.
