I was quite disappointed with the small, fatty brisket I received. Considering the pieces were tiny and heavily marbled with fat, I would have expected at least an extra piece. Unfortunately, I won't be returning—especially after paying $16 for two pieces that were about the size of bacon, each with a thick 3/4 inch of pure fat. While I appreciate marbling in meat, this was excessive. On the positive side, the plate was well-seasoned. It's such a shame.
This charming pop-up barbecue spot has a nostalgic atmosphere that brings back memories of the past. It has replaced Shane's, so be sure to call ahead if you want to order a full rack. The St. Louis-style ribs, offering 12 hearty bones, are available for $26. My favorite choice is the dinner combo, which comes with four ribs, collard greens, potato salad, and a cornbread muffin, all for just $13. The food is simply outstanding—definitely a 5 out of 5!
Food is great, customer service IS HORRIBLE, you never tell a customer that they’re too busy to answer to go orders over the phone. They made it seem like they could care less if I spend my money with them or not. I have been coming to this shack for years and years to come but I have never been treated like you don’t care about my service from a Black own business company. Smh we do it to our own people because we don’t know how to treat each other.
I'm from Los Angeles and since relocating to GA I've been in search of some good bbq or bbq that was close to what I'm accustomed to eating in L.A. I've tried several different bbq spots but NONE of them came close until I decided to give Buy the bone a try. I absolutely LOVE this place. When it’s good it’s really good. Just not consistent. I live next door and visit maybe twice a year. I still want to support the business. When it’s good I go back the next week or two. Ordered ribs a few weeks ago and they were so tender they were falling off the bone and they had flavor. Went back two weeks later and the ribs were terrible. No taste and frankly seemed like they were from the previous day. Too much to pay for just ok.
Without a doubt, this is the best BBQ you can find near the Chattahoochee! This delightful family-owned restaurant may be cozy, but the customer service is top-notch! Every dish is absolutely delicious—without exception! The portion sizes are generous (our family always has leftovers). The prices are fair, making every penny spent well worth it. If you’re in the area, you should definitely stop by for a meal! Food rating: 5/5.
This is a roadside hole in the wall BBQ shop. You order in a small one room house and wait for your order outside (locals seem to wait in the car with their buzzer). And it was the best brisket we have ever had. Simply incredible tenderness! And the potato salad and beans typically things I only snack on were just as good. The plate was locked clean.
