I didn’t plan to have dinner at this restaurant tonight, but passing in front, I wondered why the room was empty. I looked at the card I immediately liked: a limited offer to a choice between four entries, four dishes and four desserts. The manager and director are very welcoming. The restaurant is very comfortable and charming. The kitchen is open to the room: we see the Chef preparing the dishes in front of us! A little more: everything is put in place to respect the gestures of the Covid barrier. For me, the dinner was composed of a Mozzarella Buffalla with a pesto sauce of rockets; from Gambas flambées with a parmesan risotto as well as a Fondant chocolate and its house Chantilly. All ac...
After a long walk on the park we stumbled on By Lucas wandering the streets of St Germain en Laye. We were very fortunate. The restaurant has a wine bar feeling to it with the difference being that the food is prepared right there, next to you. With a short but varied menu, we had between us five different dishes. All were of excellent quality in terms of ingredients and preparation. The highlight was the lamb tajine with prunes and apricots. The best lamb dish I have ever had and being Greek that says it all. First negative point there are no aperitifs on the menu and that's a real shame. The cuisine is good but very simple and the prices are really excessive, almost 50 euros entree main course dessert we approach the price of a starred but far from its services and its cuisine. Review your prices very quickly or make a menu like the others, the craving is 25 euros starter main course dessert and the kitchen is of the same level ;
This restaurant is one of my favorites in SGEL. The chef is always willing and able to fix a wonderful vegetarian/vegan alternative if there is nothing on the menu. The wine is great and the fact you see the chef preparing your food in all calmness, even finding the time to have a little chat, is a great extra! The place and a little tight, but nicely arranged putting the kitchen open to the choir of the restaurant and we quickly understand why: dishes with delicately balanced, delicious and very well presented flavors. The service is a little slow, but it's worth it. The really original pannacotta... to fall!
Excellent table, a simple map with fresh products highlighted by a neat kitchen. Map of selective but very sufficient and quality wines, which allows beautiful meeting/winning agreements. The place is comfortable and the welcome as the impeccable service. We recommend without reservation.
