Our server kept us waiting ten minutes before greeting us. She wore a tie dye shirt and flip flops and slurred her speech while struggling to focus her eyes when she first greeted us. She mixed up our bourbons (and the pours were significantly uneven, which might not have been her fault). The kitchen gave me an incorrect steak and took another ten+ minutes to correct. The replacement steak was unevenly cooked and still not the correct cut. I ordered a filet, a $60 cut of meat, but both steaks they served me seems like sirloins chewy, ribbons of grizzle, and lacking flavor. When I inquired about the bill, which only consisted of numbers with no descriptions, she questioned, Why would I charge...
One of Morgan County and South-Central Indiana's best kept secrets. If you are in the mood for a superb steak, look no further than Bynum's off of I-69 in Martinsville. The layout of the restaurant is a little unconventional but it leads to a much more intimate setting if you ask me. The prices are what you would expect for a next level steak place. The staff are wonderful, and the food is always amazing.
I was here with a group of friends. My food and everyone else seemed very happy with their food. The portions were huge! I rarely take home leftovers but took home enough swordfish for another meal. The only thing my wife I wouldn't rave about was the salad. Unfortunately it was pretty generic. But that's not what most people go to a steak house for. Our waitress was quick and very accommodating.
I remember coming here 30 years ago and being very impressed with the atmosphere in the food. Well obviously the atmosphere is still just as amazing. But the food didn't fare as well. My steak was under seasoned. My salad obviously came from a bag. It had wilted lettuce in it. And our French onion soup was just ok. I think I'll wait another 30 years to go back. Rudest server ever never told us her name until my cousin asked ..Was with three different servers .food ok but over pticed..the other servers were just as rude never going back don't recommend this rat and roach infested place..
Overpriced food. I ordered a sirloin and it came ground. If it is listed in the steak part of the menu it should be a steak. There was a burger listed on the other side but this came without bread or condiments. Very lame.
First time there and I was totally impressed the service, food and the margarita I had were top shelf. Or should I say two margaritas. It's a bit of a drive from Terre Haute but would highly recommend
This place is not pretty...quaint perhaps....but the shrimp cocktail was good…the steak tender and well cooked...love the bread...our service was great!! I will go back definitely. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
First time eating there. The filet tasted like it was frozen and then cooked, baked potatoes are microwaved and the chicken breast is a processed, not fresh. Very disappointing.
