However, the chocolate-covered caramel rice crispy treat was simply outstanding! I hesitated at first to spend around $5 on a rice crispy treat, as most are either not fresh or overloaded with marshmallow. But this one was fresh, dense, and chewy with a creamy ganache coating. The caramel was mixed in with the marshmallow, adding an incredible flavor. I even enjoyed it after freezing it to beat the heat—it was my ideal rice crispy treat! I only regret not getting more.

While visiting from Hawaii and on our way back from Vancouver, we decided to stop by so our son, who loves collecting pressed pennies, could add some to his collection. Although the penny machine wasn’t working at first, the incredibly friendly staff went out of their way to fix it for us, which we truly appreciated. The C Shop is hands down my favorite place to visit while I'm in Birch Bay. The staff is friendly, and their snow cones are quite tasty. Some reviews mention that the ice cream is a bit pricey, but its prices are comparable to those at other places in the area since they serve Tillamook ice cream. They also have an outdoor viewing area where you can watch them make various sweets and baked goods. One of the highlights of The C Shop is its location, right by the ocean. I highly recommend stopping by The C Shop the next time you’re in the area!
This charming old-fashioned candy store offers delicious sticky buns and cinnamon rolls that are truly remarkable! Fresh out of the oven, they’re perfect for enjoying at a picnic table by the bay. Additionally, they have a delightful vintage penny flattener that stamps "Birch Bay" on it. If you grew up during my time, this will surely evoke fond memories of penny arcades.

This is a wonderful candy shop that's perfect for taking the kids. The staff are friendly and attentive, and there's a wide variety to choose from. I've never encountered a sweet that I didn't like! Plus, it's conveniently located right off the beachfront sidewalk. It's a nostalgic spot to visit during the summer or on holiday.
Charming little spot for candy and ice cream with a wide variety of flavors. The size of your scoop seems to depend on the server. For instance, the woman ahead of us requested a half scoop but received as much as our single scoop. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Birch Bay!
The customer service was awful. The staff were rude while we were trying to order ice cream. However, the kitchen crew was very friendly.
