A truly local restaurant, one of our favourites. Excellent food, very friendly service, mostly frequented by locals. However, they speak very good English. Very moderate prices. This time it was COVID pandemic so we had lunch. Three courses with a bottle of beer for 10 euros! We couldn't eat everything at once. The chocolate cake at the end was a real surprise, very tasty but light, a perfect cake for a hot summer day.
You can talk about a vegetarian option if there is a choice and at Ca la Margarida this does not happen. On the phone they said yes, and it’s not true, what a disappointment. They may not know what a vegetarian diet means. Yes we...eat legumes, yes we eat pasta, yes we eat vegetables, yes we eat eggs, yes we eat dairy products. On Tripadvisor it says Vegetarian Options and it's fake.
Best restaurant on the planet. Every single time I have been here I have been elevated to levels of ecstasy previously unknown by man. A must before you die. Don't go during the summer season. Had lunch and dinner here endless times and each time...is like a journey through the cosmos.

Fabulous Catalan meal. Great value at €19 each for 3 course lunches, water and wine on Saturday. The restaurant was full of local families. The food was very good, interesting and great value. Highly recommended.
This traditional Catalan restaurant is one of my favorites anywhere. The food is incredibly tasty and always interesting, and the price is incredibly modest. If you are in the area I would highly recommend it.
