In this small village, you really feel the authentic way of life in Cataluna. It is not a white but an ocher colour village, with many flowers and cypresses. There is one typical restaurant on the Plaça Jaume I n° 4. Tables and sitting bivouak tables outside, where you are friendly served by the granddaughter of the grandma who is cooking orginal fresh food. The daily menu for 15 euros/person is so nice, that we returned during our trip two days later. People recognised us and again it was delicious, so was the total atmosphere of the Plaça Jame I and all the village houses.
Íbamos de paso por monells y vimos el local de la Neta de ca l'arcadi, nos tomamos una fanta y un tinto de verano bien fresquito, la dueña es una chica muy amable y atenta, mi mujer tuvo un problema con una prenda descosida y fue sin pensarlo a casa de sus abuelos a por hilo y aguja. Fue un gran detalle de su parte, lástima que tuviéramos que seguir la marcha, porque me hubiese gustado quedarme a comer, ya que estaban sacando platos con muy buena pinta. Muy buena atención, muy limpio todo, tanto el bar como los servicios.
atenció i menjar bons. però cridava l’atenció l’absoluta desgana del que semblava l’encarregat per parlar-nos en català. I això que ellava perfection. un restaurant és un emplaçament culture. a la cuina local se li afegeix el fet lingüístic que arrodoneix l’experiència gloobal. xocava la desgana de l’encarregat no de l’amabilíssim cambrer- per parlar-nos en català. senyal dels temps suposo. efecte trist. costarà tornar.

Relación Calida-precio correctas pero algún plato muy justiti, como las costillas de cordero; literalmente dos mitjanes con patatas... en cambio, la ternera con setas fue un plato muy completo.

Conocíamos el lugar y al ir entre semana fue muy tranquilo y agradable. Comimos muy a gusto verduras y carne a la brasa. Bien atendidos!
