After reading some reviews, I was initially hesitant about trying the Cable Station Inn, but once we were nearby, we decided to give it a shot. We were pleasantly surprised. The food and drinks were excellent, and the staff were very helpful. Although it's not a traditional pub, it is beautifully decorated and very clean. We ended up returning a few times during our stay in Porthcurno.
The food was decent, but what really stood out was the friendly owner who not only provided us with tasty recommendations but also shared helpful local information. The prices are reasonable, and the restaurant is quite spacious, featuring separate play areas for both kids and adults. It's well-maintained and a great spot to unwind with friends after visiting the Minack Theatre.
After a refreshing walk in Lamorna, we stopped in for a much-needed pint and some warmth. While the beer selection could use improvement, everything else was quite pleasant. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

Perfectly adequate pub. Standard pub meal selection but with impressively large desserts. Also does breakfasts and afternoon teas as well. Perfect for holiday fare after coming off of the beach.
Good price, good clean accommodation in a really nice old authentic cottage, and really helpful and friendly staff which makes the difference. Yeah loved it, will go again.
