Never been to this specific location before. It was actually quite nice inside and it was super packed surprisingly (randomly at 2-3PM on a weekend). "V-STAR" Rating: Variety - 8/10 : The usual stuff - burgers, pastas, sandwiches, appetizers, steaks, seafood stuff.. etc ... merp. nothing different/unusual in my opinion.Service - 7.5/10 : Friendly staff. Met up with a friend to catch up over dinner and it turns out our timing was great - Happy Hour! We both ordered the truffle fries (happy hour menu) - so good! I had the mini-crispy chicken burger (happy hour menu) and my all-time favourite, potato skins (on the regular menu - it is the only Cactus Club location that still has them - amazing spicy yogurt dip too). My friend ordered the lettuce wraps (regular menu) because that is her all-time favourite. We ate supper here on a Thursday night. The restaurant is in a plaza, and the parking lot was almost completely full when we arrived. On busier nights parking may be difficult.The restaurant was clean and well-maintained. The music was loud, to the point where it was difficult at times to hear the conversation at our table.The food was average. The server/kitchen made an error with my order. I didn't have time to complain about it, so I don't know how they would have reacted if I had raised the concern. The server was friendly and polite when she dealt with us, but she was infrequently seen.Given the choice, I wouldn't eat here again. There are many other and better choices.
We had a family party here with older members and young kids. Food was ok, service was great but unfortunately we had a table of 8-10 South Asian 20-25 year olds next to us and the constant profanity and rowdiness put a huge damper on our event. The manager came by several times to apologize even though we never complained and eventually after getting into a heated argument with the table, he asked them to leave. Unfortunately that's the type of clientele that Cactus Club is known for. So I decided to try cactus club during the evening hours and I found it not to be a great place for a date or family lots of gang members and drunk people .i also tried to order their jambalaya and probably worst I have even eaten. I could not believe that the Canadians try to pass this off as jambalaya stomach was totally messed up please stay away from that dish. Now the drinks are great Especially their beleni probably best in Vancouver area. So at the end of the day go during the day stay away from jambalaya and order your self a beleni . Oh the staff is great very nice and the ladies are beautiful.
We live a few blocks this this Cactus Club so it's close and easy however I find that it's also got the best food in the GVA. It's fresh and tasty and we've yep to have a bad meal there.We have 2 young girls and the waitress whom my girls think are all princesses from Disneyland also have a great time and the wait staff actually engage with them with is nice.Good food, nice staff and worth the stop for lunch or dinner.
Cactus Club is very reliable. Food will never disappoint and ambiance is good. Restaurant has dining area, patio, and bar areas to suit whatever occassion. Service professional and friendly. Lots of food choices for all palates, including vegetarian, etc.
