Discovered Roy's by accident last night and what a find!!! Were looking for Chinese in Tsawwassen to discover the one we always order from was closed. Did a search and Roy's came up, we love Indian food and decided to give it a try. The service was wonderful and the food absolutely amazing. We tried the 7 Course Taster and the presentation was beautiful. Each dish had its own distinct flavor and personality, making the three of us wonder how the next one could be better. Roy's is truly a wonderful addition to Tsawwassen, we highly recommend it!!!!!
Wow! Roys has fantastic top rate Indian food as good as VIJ's in Vancouver, if not even better!I had the Malai curry prawns with 8 huge prawns in a curry sauce full of depth and flavor! It was like a carnival in my mouth!I also had the cauliflower appetizer in this spicy sweet sauce like a tempura and it was fabulous as well!I am addicted to the curry so much that I shall be returning again this week!We are just thrilled to have such a high calibre Indian restaurant in Tsawwassen!!!! No more driving to vancouver for top notch Indian food.
This place is part of a strip mall type of area, and hasn't ben open for long, so we didn't know what to expect. The inside physical location is pretty bland, but the food and the staff more than made up for it. They specialize in their own take on Indian food, so some of the dishes are different from your typical menu, but everything we ordered was wonderful and tasty. They seemed to be doing a booming take away business, but everyone was served quickly and with a smile. We will definitely go back for more.
Roy's has recently opened and is on its way to being a favourite spot for dinner.The dining room is small so be prepared to wait if you are there at dinner rush. So far the place is only open at dinner. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The take on East Indian food here is certainly not sauces out of a jar. Some of the sauces are not quite what I expected... but very tasty. I will certainly be back. I hope they post the menu in the window so people can look at it when Roy's is not open. I have been to Roy's restaurant twice this week. It was a cute quaint restaurant with only about 10 tables. Every night it was very busy. The food was delicious and not too spicy for me. The wine list was small but with a good variety. The owners are friendly and very accommodating.I loved the cauliflower appetizer, prawn with green vegetables and chicken bengali. You also can order online or by phone for takeout. I am looking forward to my next visit!
Went here for dinner the other night after hearing great reviews, and we were not disappointed! Amazing food, and really great service too. Had the fried cauliflower and it was the best! Dessert was great too - made by a young boy on the autism spectrum. Highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for authentic, and flavourful Indian cuisine.
I went with a date for dinner, we had 2 appies and 2 main course options, and we were both blown away. The prawn dish had more prawns than we could count, the spinach and cheese dish was fantastic, we had a grilled cauliflower appy that was delicious and just the right amount of spicy, I will definitely be coming back again!

Great local restaurant !! The food is all prepared by owner/Chef with care !!! We had 4 dishes all were exceptional and very different. Would definitely go back !
