I used to love cactus flower but they are the most inconsistent when it comes to making the exact same menu that they've had for years. Despite the years of having hit or miss food orders i still never left a review and kept coming back (only because pensacola has very limited options) but honestly this small thing that happened today really got to me so now it's time for the honesty to come out. I ordered a steak salad with the lime dressing. I love this lime dressing so I paid $1 for 2 extra lime dressings. My husband and I had a lovely date night dinner at this restaurant, based on a friend's recommendation. We were warmly greeted and decided to sit outside, although the inside seating area also looked nice. I ordered the mango shrimp dinner, and while the flavors were delicious, I wished I could have had more control over the amount of mango salsa. The fried tortillas around the shrimp were a bit soggy, but the shrimp itself was tasty. The enchilada dinner was also good, with tender meat and flavorful fillings. The food at this restaurant was fantastic, but the service was terrible. Our waitress added an automatic gratuity to our bill for a party of 7 without informing us. When we went to pay, she only showed us a dollar amount on a digital reader without providing an itemized bill or receipts, resulting in all of us double tipping. Our food took 90 minutes to come out, and despite the first round of margaritas being great, the second round never arrived. Customers from other tables were also wandering around looking for staff. Food was okay. Recipes have potential, but the execution and ingredient quality is lacking. The service was sloooow even for a Friday evening. They got my wife's order completely wrong and had to bring her a new order. The booth was broken, and I was sitting on a board. My office treats us weekly with a family meal from locally owned restaurants and Cactus Flower is by far the one I look forward to the most. Their catering is spot on! I recently went in while taking family to the nearby airport and it was a lovely experience. We were taken aback by how well customers and the friendly staff knew each other. The food is also spectacular!
Went here a few weeks ago. The menu is an enhanced Chipotle in my opinion and food quality is okay but prices are almost double what you'd pay at Chipotle. We did have a party of nine but service was quite slow, multiple people received wrong or missing items and server was not attentive.
This is my first time at this restaurant. I loved it! Great staff, food, and ambiance. I recommend the Mango Shrimp and the Queso Bite appetizers, Burrito Bowl for your entree, and Cactus Berry as your beverage. Not to miss!

I absolutely loved the chicken tacos at this restaurant! The rice was fantastic and the salsa was also delicious. Although I wasn't a big fan of the queso, everything else was top-notch.
