In Buffalo for a few days to immerse opurselves in Frank Lloyd Wright arcjhitecture that is still standing. I had a friend who attended graduate school there and styaed for a few years after completeing his program. I emailed him and asked him for some recommendations of food for lunch. He said you have to have a chicen finger sub at Cafe 59. SO we did, after touring the Wright-designed Martin House. It was quite good.
I have ordered from Café 59 quite a few times now, and have been blown away by their food each time. The sandwiches are creative, delicious, and fresh. You can tell the ingredients are chosen and prepared very carefully. I appreciate that local ingredients are use here, too. We love to order from here for luncheons at my office- very attentive and helpful catering service!
A Favorite Neighborhood Restaurant. A great neighborhood restaurant in an attractive space, tasty food, and great service. Our favorites are the Cajun Chicken over penne, Pumpkin Ravioli, Moroccan Chickpeas, their soups, smelts, and salads. The wine selection is good and a great value. Beer selection is extensive. The homemade bread and garlic- olive oil are awesome.

The restaurant from the outside is not very “appealing”. However that is usually a good sign that the food is awesome, I generally enjoy a place that’s run down far more often then a place that looks gorgeous.The scene is a “very liberal college hipster”
The food here is fantastic and the prices are quite reasonable for the portion size. The staff is very friendly and I was pleased to see a variety of vegetarian options on the menu. I will definitely return to this restaurant in the future.

Chicken finger sub- fantastic. Broccoli cheddar soup- wonderful. Burbon chicken wrap- amazing. Service on a Sunday is a little slow, but the delicious food made up for it. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
The food is excellent. The atmosphere is casual and quaint. There is a good variety of menu options to choose from. Prices are moderate.
