The food at this restaurant is amazing and the prices are brilliant. The atmosphere is very homely and the staff are lovely and polite to everyone. I highly recommend the breakfast, but you can order anything on the menu at any time of day. I had sausage, beans, and homemade chips, while my husband had the large breakfast. The portions are huge, and the hand-cut chunky chips were delicious. The staff, including Sarah and Aiden, were fantastic. This restaurant in Wakefield comes highly recommended and we will definitely be back when we are in the area. The menu is great and even my fussy eating habits were satisfied. Breakfast was a special treat. Overall, it was a decent attempt at a full breakfast. However, it was disappointing that the sausages were microwaved, making them painfully hot inside. I have never seen this cooking style before and hope not to in the future. Additionally, the mushrooms were cold. I would have brought this up if the staff had asked, but they seemed busy. It's unfortunate that these two basic mistakes tarnished what could have been a satisfactory breakfast.
Though we’d give this cafe a go for breakfast it had some good reviews. I saw the ultimate on the menu and ordered it it defeated me of course! 4x sausage, 4x bacon, 2x Spam, scrambled eggs, 2x fried bread, mushrooms, tomatoes, beans, 2x black pudding, tea, 6x toast and chipped potatoes The food is decent enough typical Full English breakfast fare. Nice and clean with friendly staff, the only down side is that it’s cash only no card payments!
Came on a day trip as I had a day off work, being November I wanted something hot for lunch. 3 breakfast served hot unlike a lot of supermarket cafes. Nice thick bacon. Staff very friendly and new a lot of the locals,who went regularly, and you only go to somewhere regularly if the food is good. Had a wide variety of meals on the menu all reasonably priced.

My wife and I had a great lunch today at a restaurant that offers OAP discounts. We were both very pleased with our main courses and desserts, which were reasonably priced. We both agreed that we would definitely come back. The service and staff were excellent.
Just had a delivery in the main the food was ok but put on special requests these were not done and the children meat pie was in inedible with to much fat and grisly the pie crust was so soggy and the home made chips tasted really bad and burnt
Excellent friendly small family run cafe. Always have a main desert when visiting. My favourite is steak pie full of tender steak pieces love the homemade cheesecakes and Jaffa cake, never been disappointed.
Overall the food was good, not quite spoons quality but not bad. What was disappointing was the lack of worcestershire sauce which I would expect any greasy spoon cafe to have
