Trip advisor was the reason we dined here. Everything is just lovely, fine linen, extremely delicious food, the waiter was so polite, knowledgeable about the menu and wine and so perfectly attentive. It was the perfect atmosphere for an intimate, romantic dinner. And then there was Chris, the host... with his hard soled, leather shoes marching up and down, up and down, up and down, back and forth to the kitchen, talking Way too loudly, every time new customers arrived, telling them the same story we just heard as well. If this could be toned way down, this restaurant would be one of the best around. Fine dining except for the noise.
My family members and friends have dined at this fine restaurant on a number of occasions in the past year or two. It is always remarkable! I love to know what I am eating and how it is prepared. Chris and his father are always delighted to exchange this information willfully, right down to the exotic spices and care given to every step of the preparation. I have dined in some of the finest restaurants in the world and this is one of the best. Don't miss out on the opportunity to experience this very fine dining establishment. Surely one of Brantford's "Best Kept Secrets"!
My husband and my went there for dinner and were not sure what to expect. From the moment you walk in the owner is greeting you, taking your coat and seating you at your table that is awaiting for you per your reservation. The service was excellent and personable. The food was fantastic, simply amazing. This is fine dining at its best. We were so impressed with this restaurant that we plan on returning and suggesting it to everyone. You will leave with an experience and your taste buds singing.
This place is a repeat for us at least once a month...the feature soup is always delicious regardless of what it is. The veal Pomodoro and meatballs melt in your mouth you won't even need a knife they are so tender. Definitely some talented chefs!! Great food, good service but owner was obnoxious and rude. He invaded our privacy, would not leave us alone and brow beat us into ordering food we did not want. Will not go again.
Always a buzz of cultural delight__Whether you are shopping for pasta, pasta sauce, spices or just coming in for all the delicious baked goods.
My wife and I were the only people there so we had a very intimate dinner. Owner and his son were great hosts and the food was over the top.
