This little coffee shop, hidden down at the end of a little courtyard, has its charm. The coffee is very good, especially the mocha. We thought by the name of the coffee shop that it would have a 'French' touch. The sandwiches, however, are called 'panini' but are served on 'naan' bread - somewhat confusing. The fillings slip around on the naan in a way they don't when served on bread and are bland. I had the filling with the fig jam and chicken, which was not very flavourful. We didn't try any of the treats after our experience with the sandwiches. It's a good place to sit that is never busy and is very quiet,. Service is on the slow side and very unobtrusive.
A bit of old world charm in the cozy little coffee shop and patio. This is our go to coffee stop whenever we are in town for tea/coffee and a light lunch or homemade treat. The other day we had ordered their lunch special of a very tasty homemade tomato soup and a perfectly grilled cheese sandwich. With a beverage and the soup/sandwich combination it was around $25 for the two of us including tip. The service is always more friendly and social than most places we go showing pride of ownership and the desire to welcome their customers and put them at ease.
The food here was tasty and well-prepared. The potato cheddar soup was flavourful without being overwhelmed by cheese. The brie salad with chicken had REAL roasted chicken, not some prepared meat. Both were generous portions. The tea choices were lovely. This little restaurant was a delightful find after too many meals on the coast that were overpriced with over-garliced food.
Visited the town on way to see "Goats on the roof" and stopped for coffee. It has to be said having spent 3 weeks travelling in Canada this was by far and away the best coffee we had... What made it even better was they also provided home made muffins which were the best we had had anywhere not just in Canada. Staff were all very friendly and made us most welcome. A nice relaxing small place to enjoy a casual meal and goodies. Food is fresh and freshly made for each order and what we had was very good and tasty. Service is good and owners are friendly. Reasonably priced valued for what you get.
A lovely little cafe ... tucked away on 2nd Avenue! We enjoy a tasty, homemade sandwich and a cup of tea ... often bring family visitors here for a nice timeout from shopping.
This little bistro is a hidden gem in Qualicum Beach with delicious, home-made food. The atmosphere is warm and the girls in there are super-friendly.
