this unpretentious family-run restaurant in the heart of Gros-de-Vaud is a great place for a relaxed eating with family or friends. in autumn the chasse' is great, and at every season there is a wide range of classic Swiss bistro...fare to everyone. filets de perche, steak (including sur ardoise), which is a good opportunity to eat steak when they have never tried it before), cold roast beef with tartaric acid sauce, omelettes and salates. I didn't try the pizza, but it looked fantastic and is available to take away. in summer there is a pleasant terrace and two dining rooms. service is very friendly and eating is excellent. the chef is obviously proud of his work. he will come out in the ru...
A disaster and that's saying something... a mussels and fries evening at the price of 49 francs is expensive and it's even worse when the mussels are tiny and of poor quality and a nauseating smell emerges. I ate the fries!!! The service is frankly disappointing and even the equipment is miserable (glasses and carafes more than chipped) therefore dangerous and unprofessional. In any case never again in this establishment.
Morgens zum Kaffee und später zum Mittagessen. Der Kaffee war toll, keine Croissants erhältlich bei 9 Uhr. Das tägliche Special bestellt als Mittagessen: osso buco (Pork) mit gerösteten Kartoffeln und französischen Bohnen. Nur das Fleisch war essbar, die Kartoffeln und die Bohnen wurden verbrannt. Wenn ja, gehe ich einfach zum Kaffee. Bringt eure eigenen Croissants!
Mussels and Fries Evening 49. When entering the restaurant I smelled an unpleasant smell of not fresh mussels. I wanted to order other things but it wasn't possible (something I can understand). Die Pizzen sind die besten im Waadtland. Das Fleisch auf Schiefer ist ausgezeichnet, die Pommes sind super und der gemischte Salat ist großartig. Zum Abschluss ist der Wein gut und nicht teuer und der Walliser, ein Kugel Aprikosen- und Aprikosen-Eis, ist einfach nur lecker. MMMMMMMM.
Nach einer Pause wieder zurück. Herrliche Mahlzeit. Qualität wie immer top, aufmerksamer Service und Chef... einzigartig. Das beste Restaurant in der Region mit einer sehr freundlichen Atmosphäre. Absolut empfehlenswert.
