On a Saturday night, the parking lot was nearly empty. We were initially seated at a table that hadn't been cleaned, and then we were offered the option to move, which we accepted. Only two other tables were occupied. When we ordered drinks, the server returned to inform us that they didn't have Johnnie Walker Black or Macallan 12. We then requested scotch, but the server responded that they didn't have any scotch available and offered us options like Japanese whiskey, Bombay gin, or bourbon instead. We decided to leave. Having visited this restaurant two or three times before the pandemic, we were truly disappointed and shocked by this experience.
2nd time with my family. The service was excellent, the food was amazing! I had most decadent short rib pappardelle pasta, the mushroom sauce was the ultimate comfort food, loaded with mushrooms, seasoned perfectly. Other standouts pistachio encrusted salmon, Goffle Brook Farm chicken parmesan with vodka sauce which was served over pasta and an order of a very large and juicy hanger steak with crispy frites. We stopped by this restaurant on a whim while celebrating our 4th wedding anniversary with a date night at the rage room. We wanted to grab a bite to eat before smashing some plates and bottles. I chose this place based on its content, as I'm a video producer and run a creative marketing agency, and I'm so glad I followed my instincts. The food was fantastic! My wife had the short rib, and I enjoyed the salmon. We joked, laughed, and even had the pleasure of meeting the owner’s mother. Overall, it was a delightful experience!
The entire meal was amazing! Grilled octopus was cooked perfectly and complemented with the tastiest salad, fried eggplant and dressing! Scallops cooked perfectly and the corn polentaomg so delicious! The short rib pappardelle was out of this world! Can’t wait to return and try everything else. Thank you!! This restaurant is absolutely incredible! The food is simply delightful, and I can’t even find the words to fully express how great it tastes. We celebrated my wife’s birthday and had a great time! The atmosphere was wonderful, and the food was delicious. I just wish the service could be a bit quicker, but the wait is definitely worth it. This is our favorite restaurant!
