We had a great visit with distant relatives of the Gredler Café, in addition to great cakes and coffee. My great grandfather was born in Stumm, 10 minutes away. The owner has pictures of his grandmother and grandfather on the wall, as well as an...early building. The business started several generations ago making candles from bees wax. Then the honey started being used for sweets cakes and chocolates and that’s what they specialize in now. Great location right on the river, and the food was outstanding.
we visited this caffe twice on two different days and at the first visit we had a super male waiter that we liked very much. the exterior is great and eating, coffee, wine, beer and ice was wonderful. the next day we returned to eat and drink, but had a waitress that was not pleasant and didn't make us feel comfortable. the setting, eating and drinking were still great, but I can't give in good sense the place 5.
the cafe gredler cafe produces excellent cream cake always a favorite of my wife when we are on holiday the caffe is partly inside (together with the loading) and outside (under sun umbrellas). simply eating and the drinks were both excellent at a reasonable price (yes. we were on holiday) a good way to start the days.
had coffee and snacks/canned cake here with family and both paint beautiful with good service. excellent location at the river and shame that we did not visit earlier in the week, how would have visited more than 2!
