I found Cafe Cortina on Instagram and was super excited to finally try it out especially since it's been voted the most romantic restaurant. Who doesn't want to check out a magical place?! I made reservations on open table. It was super easy. You can add if you're celebrating a birthday or anniversary too. Once we arrived, we were greeted by a very friendly valet person. I don't typically leave bad reviews but this felt more than warranted and I want others to be aware of what to expect when potentially planning a wedding here. We're super bummed as this seemed like the perfect venue for our wedding, but communication with Rina in the events department was so bad I couldn't stand it any longer. I was constantly provided conflicting information and she insisted on texting for communication. She did not allow me to come and see property before booking, as she said the videos provided are good enough. I never received follow-up. We celebrated my niece’s engagement party at Cafe Cortina. Let me tell you this is a hidden gem! Beautiful place indoors and outdoors. They have beautiful patio sitting . The staff is excellent! The evening was almost outstanding. A couple of slip ups. The waitress was quite difficult to understand otherwise excellent service. The staff must had dome issues atthe time of receiving the bill. My food was excellent!! The service could have been better, I had to wait for my food and ask the server on multiple occasions for water, etc. I asked were they short staff and told no. The food was amazing as always. My waiter was very helpful and attentive. However, valet service was not offered, a line was forming to be greeted and seated and no one seemed available to retrieve my coat at coat check. After almost 10 minutes, I grabbed my own coat.
