I've been going to this restaurant for years, but my last visit was quite uncomfortable. I felt ignored by the staff while I was trying to decide what to order at the counter. I noticed one of the staff members came by to check that the register was closed, but no one acknowledged me. I've always tipped generously during my visits, but after this experience, I've decided that I won't be returning.
We just found Cafe Cuba driving by the other night. We went in this morning for breakfast and we'll be coming back a LOT. Forget driving to Porto's!! The pastelitos de guayaba are DELICIOUS! The cafe con leche is just like in New Jersey, the croquetas are really good, even the pan con mantequilla is great! And I LOVE the ambience! Found my new favorite place in Hawthorne!!!
What a hidden gem in Hawthorne! It always has been. The Cubano sandwiches and iced lattes are delicious and definitely worth the wait. I also adore the Cuban art displayed on the walls.
I regret not finding this spot sooner. The food is incredible and the drinks are tasty. I go every weekend for an iced coffee and pastelitos. The beef and cheese are my favorite. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Sofia take care our table terrible food horrible no a/c a few fans running they did not put cutlery to eat truly terrible if you are in this area just avoid this guys
The cakes are amazing,So moist and delicious!! The decorations and attention to detail is excellent! I really enjoyed my babys first birthday cake!
Love that they sell flautas de pan, pastelitos other sweets in addition to a full kitchen. Papa Rellenas were off the hook good�
