Called in for lunch and friendly staff quickly relaid a table for us - it was market day and on a sunny afternoon full of locals. We had the set lunch which was unbelievable value at 12.60 Euros for 3 courses of perfectly ripe melon with a slice of local ham or crudités followed by the a duck salad and pork in pepper sauce. This was the best Ilunch we enjoyed in 4 weeks of travelling in France. It was followed by excellent home made desserts ils flotant and tarte tatiin. They used really fresh local ingredients which were well cooked and served by a couple who obviously enjoy their vocation - just superb.

Fun, friendly little restaurant on Liberation Square. Good, fresh food with cheerful service and spotless loos. Very popular with locals at lunchtime. Twice a week there's an extensive market which adds more than just a splash of colour to a town that was badly damaged during WW11 but has been sympathetically restored.

It may be weird to say that for a brewery bar that pays no mine at first, but I don't think they do the best fries I've ever eaten, or then not far. The light perfect crispy and the melt inside. And served in a good mood!
Lunch formula at noon with entrance, dish and dessert at 15€, qualitative and quantitative meals, pleasant staff. Outdoor terrace for lunch in the sun.
The staff is kind and polite, lots of options for lunch food which is what I've gone for dozens of times.
