We were immediately greeted and upon hearing my response in terrible French, our...hostess graciously switched into English and made us welcome. what a pleasant surprise to stumble this real restaurant in the heart of the old quarter of chambery. with pummelndem pidgin french, we were asked to wait for minutes before the four of us sit comfortably outside with great view on passersby. to expand this old part of the city. eating when it came was great. they were hearty meals, but all tastefully prepared and presented. to unite two dishes. first, the risotto was tasteful and creamy with longoustines, perfectly accompanied by a crunchy chardonnay that was chosen for us. then the goat's salate is ham with parma which was raised by her vinaigrette. simple, refreshing and beautifully made. to round it...a pleasant, friendly, accommodating...
You sit and you see that it is a place where most people have their habit. That is a place for connoisseurs. Service is so nice and people so gentle. It was a very hot day and we enjoy the shade on the terrace. The...food is surprisingly good, we have a plat du jour and a tartare; both were excellent. It is opened on Mondays and this is important as most tripadvisor rated restaurant are closed. We highly recommend this place. We will be there again as it is a perfect stop for a one day visit to Chambery; location is perfect too. Prices are very attractive too. We arrive very early but I would advise to make a reservation.
Habitant Chambéry, je vais régulièrement dans ce café bistro. Cuisine traditionnelle et fraîche. Le Chef de cuisine a travaillé chez Georges Blanc et était au service de généraux au cercle national des armées. Autant dire que les plats proposés sont au top, digne d'un gastronomique mais dans une ambiance bistrot avec des prix tout à fait abordables au regard de la qualité.

joli emplacement pour ce restaurant que ce soit en extérieur ou à l'intérieur.plats copieux et originaux d'excellente qualité et la patronne est aux petits soins et toujours souriante. Un très agréable moment de détente et de convivialité.Nous y retournerons encore avec plaisir :)prix tout à fait corrects.
it seems a small boutique in london. but it is not that! to eat a soft food, light food without sugar would push the door many traders change, but not load it. a place to be seen by their friends to be a...true frenchwoman in france.
Petit resto pour le midi très sympa pour y déguster un plat du jour, un excellent foie de veau ou des rognons...Le chef assure, le patron est très sympa et les serveuses également.
We ate from Paris through to Turin Italy, this was the best food, service and character filled restaurant we've found. Amazing, we love this town, worth a visit.
