The restaurant in the centre, Cafe de L'Anse du Griffon, could so easily have sat on its laurels it's the only real restaurant for many kilometers around. Yet it delivered excellent quality food two nights in a row on our visit, relying on fresh ingredients and simple but well executed recipes. I highly recommend it to anyone vacationing in or near Forillon National Park, and who craves a change from eating one's own BBQ food.
Excellent food and fast service. Staff was very friendly and helped serve our large group at a busy dinner time. A must stop for sea food if you are heading into Forillon National Park or on the way back. The building has a bit of interesting history too!
I stopped for some chocolate cake and espressos. The cake was great and the espressos were the best we've had in gaspesie. I can't comment on the food but the views were beautiful and service was quick and cheerful!
Possibility to borrow snowshoes to go on the trails maintained by volunteers. The volunteers are very friendly and the equipment of very good quality. I recommend !
Super slow service. After 40 min of waiting for a table, another 30 min to get served. Food is very good. If you have lots of time this place is good to consider.
Really sad that this place was burned down today. Too bad, so beautiful. There's nothing left, maybe it will be rebuilt...to be continued!
