Choosed by chance but really not disappointed. A very welcoming team, an extremely pleasant and very attentive service to its customers: Margot, an extremely benevolent person, our waitress has remained very attentive to our girl with disabilities, a very atypical setting, and very good products with advice to make her choice, well-stocked plates. We have adopted this restaurant for our next visits to Mont-Dore. Small date accuracy: Saturday, September 2, 2023 at 7:00 p.m.
On a monday out of tourist season, we got the last table for lunch. All the other customers seemed to be regulars always a good sign. We had a lovely, and very filling lunch for 3 including wine, coffee and dessert for €50. After our post lunch meeting in Le Mont Dore, a local took us back there for coffee and was disappointed we had been for lunch, as he wanted the credit for introducing us to it! Don't confuse it with the much bigger hotel de Paris just down the hill.
After a long walk along the Dordogne river starting from the top next to ski lifts and down to town 4km later this place did the trick. Super nice ladies running this corner café serving hot wine and tasty sweet things. I could go on about the jazz, the pictures on the wall, chandeliers but then someone might take the last seat. I 'll be back. Have an Adventure today!
Saturday, September 02 at 1:30 pm after 5 hours drive. We were hungry some restaurants refused to welcome us. Café le petit Paris welcomes us with kindness and care. Excellent and hearty meals. A nice random discovery after having wiped a few refusals for an arrival at 1:30 p.m. The reception is on top and the kitchen really very good. A lamb shoulder, white truffle inguins, air chocolate mousse and a mirabelle pie, everything was perfect! A beautiful address to remember or discover
So how to say... we wouldn't have bet on this establishment but fortunately that other restaurants in the city were no longer serving. What a nice surprise!!! An unusual place, a warm team and a wahou meal!!!! Thank you very much.
