My wife and me had dinner in this restaurant, following a suggestion from our host. It is a very nice place, elegant and cosy at the same time, with high quality food. I had very good escargot as an entree, both my wife and I also took an entrecote as a main course. I suggest both the camembert and the foigras souces to accompany the entrecote. Visited with friends total of 4 people Our friend reserved a table overlooking the lake so no problem with getting a tableWe all opted for the set menu Staff were polite and also spoke excellent English Food was excellent both starters and main Didn't try desserts as first two courses had filled us upReasonable priced bearing in mind this is a very popular town in the region Only criticism was no Air conn in rear room with outside temps touching 30 degrees did get a bit warm
A lovely location with a beautiful view across the lake. The menu has something to suit everyone; from delicate small dishes to hearty rustic meals. A good wine list and drinks selection, all presented by efficient and happy staff. The price was very reasonable for the quality of the meal; fresh seafood, local charcuterie and excellent main courses. Well worth a visit and well recommended.
Lovely dining experience for our family of 4. We were squeezed in on a busy night but made to feel extremely welcome. The staff were incredibly busy but also ensured they took time to engage with everyone in the restaurant, including our children. The food was delicious and had we stayed in Bagnoles de Lorne a little longer I'm sure we would have visited again! Would highly recommend.

Wir hatten das Entrecote. 400 g, sehr lecker, mit feinem Sösschen. Zum Dessert Creme brulée, bzw. Käse. Beides OK. Wenn man das Glück hat, vom Senior bedient zu werden, ist die Bedienung sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, sonst nur ok. Ambiente im Raum am See sehr ansprechend, sonst nur zweckmäßig, teils zugig.

Reserved for dinner. Can eat the sake everywhere. No surprise... tomatoe mozzarella nothing at all. Fake salad ( plastic bag), ok steak.... stay home and have a Bbq is probably better idea.... not tasty at all. Service ok but table squished in!! No privacy....
We have always found the food to be excellent at the Cafe de Paris but do note that portions tend to be very large.The restaurant staff are very friendly and helpful and if you can get a table near the back windows, the view of the lake is superb.

Nice comfy traditional decor, good views of the lake, food is traditional and good - escargot really excellent. Staff are friendly and some speak English.
Enjoyed the food and service. Rear of the restaurant has a great view of the lake. Very popular so I would recommend you book.
