Our Hotel did not do Breakfast and at 8am there was nowhere open except Cafe Del Gino. It’s not a greasy spoon and as the menu is in Spanish we embraced it with my limited Spanish and was pleasantly surprised with the baguette that arrived with a lovely cup of tea ! Very tasty Continental Breakfast menu and great value. The Host was very friendly and we had breakfast there every morning this week. Only downside is people, young and old, smoke and eat at the same time so sit upwind.
They've just finished a total renovation and it's looking great ! They serve great cafe con leche (all I've ordered coffee wise) and the sandwiches and desserts I've had are all first class. It's also one of my favourite people watching locations ... Besides this, you have views of the beautiful fountain/roundabout at the base of Juan Carlos, and the sea. Very friendly staff, and well protected from any winds when necessary. Great place to just hang ...
Un sitio estupendo para desayunar, merendar, tomar un café o un refresco. Hay tartas caseras, bollería, gofres, crepes , sandwiches... Todo el equipo te atiende super bien y con una rapidez pasmosa. Además está súper bien ubicado, cerca del ayuntamiento y a escasos metros de la playa.
Me ha gustado mucho! Las chicas que atienden, son muy agradables, la ubicación es perfecta, la comida y sus bocadillos y molletes, así como sus tartas y dulces, están riquísimos, y en cuanto a la relación calidad/precio, está genial. La comida riquísima, la camarera 10 puntos...la chica de rulos d la cafetera también Pero siempre que venimos los gritos y la mal manera de hablar que tiene la chica de anteojos hacia la camarera ...no deja desayunar en paz a nadie

Staff are friendly and helpful and coffee is good. Nutella croissant was delicious and lemon crepe very good too. A nice little pit stop with kids en route to the play ground.
