We found it quite hard to find to find something for dinner out of season in the area and as we weren't travelling with cars we couldn't simply drive out of town. Cafe des Voyageurs did great salads - the $4.50 green one was enormous and you can order BBQed skewers on the side which was a fun and affordable way to try lots of different things. Great wine and coffee too.

We were only in town for an hour or so, but stopped here for breakfast. It's obviously a popular place with locals, as we were the only tourists. The coffee was great as was the croissant. The service was very good. It was especially nice to just sit back and do the French thing: enjoy your coffee and watch life go by.
