My tostones were dried out and unchewable. It looks like they were from yesterday. I am PR and I know how to cook them. I have eaten in person at Cafe Dominicano many, many times. I don't know what happened. Also didn't receive my rice and salad that normally comes with the meal.
I really enjoy the food, but the service leaves much to be desired. The bartender often has an unwelcoming attitude. The ambiance isn't anything extraordinary either, and the music is consistently too loud, even when there aren't many patrons.
They are fantastic! They arrive in the afternoon after 5 PM, and when I asked if the blonde is there, I found out they also come in the morning for coca. Their food is excellent—truly the best for Dominican cuisine! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Don't go eating that garbage food there, don't whistle, we were 12 people and none of the food was good at all. The food is like for dogs. There's an owner, he's a dirty guy who eats that garbage food they sell.
The food is good, but serving just three oxtails to a predominantly Black and brown clientele is not acceptable. That said, the food is delicious and most items are reasonably priced.
Skimping on the food now. Good was ok! They use to give you a nice hearty plate! Plenty of better options out there!
