The last time I was here was in 7th grade after our first school dance. That was 24 years ago. This place is still a gem! The warm, cozy atmosphere, friendly staff (hostess, waiter and busser) and delicious food made the whole experience wonderful. I absolutely want to come back to try more of their coffee options. I had the avocado omlette and it was perfect as were the hashbrowns and pancakes.The drip coffee was good too. It wasn't busy (9am on a Thursday) so my food came out in less than 10 minutes and I was out the door by 9:30. I think my favorite part of this place is the atmosphere. Even though it's located on a super busy highway, once you're inside, it's like you're at home in peace...
I am a return dinner customer because everything I've had has been beyond my expectations. Only open for dinner on Friday and Saturdays We've had the eggplant Parmesan and the Pork Marsala. Both of these were the best I've ever had. Their salmon and shrimp and risotto as well as their soups and salads are so very deliciously flavored. People at other tables were all saying this is amazing food too! Amazing for a coffee shop feel resturant. I did hear the chef is from a highly respected Italian resturant. He sure knows how to cook! I have had breakfast here twice in the past few years and I was impressed with the food and the service. The staff is very warm and friendly. My wife and I dropped in one evening for a quick dinner and we were both floored by how great the dinners were. Don't sleep on this gem. They take great care of their customers.
