During our time at Cafe G I cannot state enough how much we enjoyed it. The food was excellent and very exquisite, i had a lamb wrap and i have to say it was probably the best thing i’ve ever had. The manager/chef was very...enthusiastic about our visit and seemed like a very genuine person, he kindly greeted us and made us laugh like never before. And as for the service, it was astounding, the staff treated us very well, we’re very polite and overall amazing. There was one specific waiter that we were impressed with, a young man (in his teens), tall with brown curly hair; he was very gentle and thoughtful of us as customers. It's open but wish it was closed ! Was warned about 35minte delay but they failed to mention the breakfast would be cold . Dont mind waiting but expect hot food. Appreciate it was a busy day but no excuses . Don't go in the...kitchen if you can't stand the heat ! Not a great atmosphere as managers or chef was shouting at staff ... Went during a very quiet period, only 2 other tables eating. Ordered and waited over 30 minutes, before asking why it was taking so long. We attended for lunch and was absolutely appalled by the staff, the rudeness of the manager/owner and the way he spoke to the young girls was disgusting. 1 young girl that worked there Chloe was very rude and abrupt and totally ruined our experience. Definitely...won’t be returning, they should be ashamed of themselves, no one should be spoken to in such manner.
came randomly over this place, not recognizing it was a Turkish running caffe. I myself, woman and my 75 year old mother all choose shish kebabs my mamas first lol. we loved her and could have the best kebab I ever had. the dame was in writing...loving along the side of the owners ignore the negative reviews and make them their own mind on
after 40 minutes waiting for the breakfast, gave up and got a refund, ordering tee with eating go, stone cold to the time that did not arrive, getting angry excuse for lateness of food offered and asking if I could hang for another 5 minutes. I'd just jump in for a quick feed, but losing a buck of my morning will not go back.
Really lovely we’ll keep cafe with beautiful decor. We had two large breakfasts with perfectly cooked fresh ingredients. Can’t wait to return to sample some of the lunches. What a fantastic find! Friendly and welcoming plus the Smoked Salmon, poached egg and Avocado smash on toast was to die for! Only visiting the area for a couple of days but wish this was local to us- we would be in every day!
