There was quite a long line during lunchtime on a Sunday, but it was definitely worth the wait. The sausages and bacon in the soft baguette were amazing and perfectly toasted. The hot chocolate was also incredible. I will definitely be returning. We came back on a Thursday for lunch and while there was still a long line, it took about 30 minutes to get our food.
Easily the best bacon egg baguette I have ever eaten: good quality ingredients and cooked to perfection. Also have numerous options for vegetarians and vegans. Friendly and personable staff, and a perfect location for dog walkers, cyclists and others. I will definitely pay a return visit when next staying in the area,
It was amazing. Anyone who eats here please note that when you buy too much rolls and sandwiches you are annoying every one in the park whilst also holding up the queue. Please stop overbuying bacon rolls please. I also recommend the homemade ice cream it is the best ever and actually does not hold up the queue.
The restaurant is located in a beautiful setting, just a short walk from Tonbridge through the park and past the first lake. It costs only 50p per bag. The toilets are located at the back of the cafe, and there is a large parking lot behind it for £1. The cycle path 12 to Penshurst also passes through the area.
amazing location in this country park outside tonbridge. the cafe delivered exactly what we did not ask with a hate, e.g. a burger, but no bungalow, which they just used a plate instead. I didn't mean to drop. stop there when you drive this direction.
On a cold day walking around Barden Lake this cafe is a godsend. A warming hot chocolate with a bacon and egg roll. Tasty and filling with fair prices. Now walk around the lake again to work it off
Delicious home made Keralan curry soup, such lovely menu choices alongside the usual bacon/sausage rolls. Really nice pumpkin and peanut butter dog biscuits too.
Excellent cafe. Amazing egg and bacon roll and very generous breakfast roll! Kind, personable owner and very efficient staff. Will absolutely return!
brilliant. had the breakfast baguette, and a piece of cake, and both were really delicious, and also excellent value for money.
