Holy cow!! What a treat! I've only eaten here once, but it was awesome. The food is fresh and delicious. The chips came out thin and hot with a mild but delicious salsa. We were the only people in the place, and it took a while for the food to come out, but it was worth the wait. My wife got mole enchiladas and she loved them. She loves mole and is pretty picky about it, but she loved this. It was a little sweet with undercurrents of spices that complimented the chicken perfectly. I got two gorditas and they were awesome. We were traveling through Roosevelt and decided to go to CafeLuna due to the reviews we read on yelp. We were not disappointed!! Everything was fresh and delicious! I got the carne asada tacos and my husband got the carne asada burrito. I'm extremely picky when it comes to Mexican food (no American/Mexican food for me), and I complimented them over and over. It does look a little dicey when you go in, but everything is neat and clean. I'm already planning our next trip through Roosevelt, just to be able to eat at CafeLuna!! Gracias!!!!
The food and service was outstanding! I travel a lot for both work and recreation. I always try to seek out local restaurants. The food at Cafe Luna was amazing. I especially loved the mole enchiladas... Best I have ever had! I travel through Roosevelt a lot and often pass by without stopping. Not anymore... Make sure you stop and try the food at Cafe Luna.
I absolutely loved Luna Cafe and can’t wait to dine here again on my next trip. I ordered the beef enchiladas and chili relleno, and both were excellently seasoned and beautifully presented. The chips were warm, light, and crispy, and the freshly made salsa was amazing—I enjoyed it so much that I bought a jar to take home!
