This is one of those places that single handedly makes you question what you considered an impeccable dining experience prior to going. I don't have words to describe my experience, it's simply on such a different level of anything I've had before. The staff members are amazing, and several of them have been there over a decade which speaks volume to the type of establishment this is. Adrian is as good at what he does as the chef is at cooking, and adds such an aurora to the entire experience. The menu is forever changing so definitely check out the menu or call ahead if you're picky. I'm 4hrs away and considering driving up just to go here before the chef retires. Matisse is fantastic across the board. The staff and door are wonderful. The dining experience too! Vegetarian options: For any occasion. Or, special. I have been going to Matisse for many years. Came in for a belated Valentine’s Day celebration and was over the moon about this place. The four course menu has incredible selections, the atmosphere is cozy and beautiful decor. The food was exceptional; the chef truly is a genius. As for the service, it was top-notch. I dined in for dinner, and the price per person was over $100. Overall, I would rate the food a perfect 5, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 5 as well.
