Cafe Maxime - Tisch reservieren

Not a good experience. I visited this place with my family for lunch, amongst the meal order was an order for two cheeseburgers, which we requested to be cooked medium rare. The meals arrived, and when I ate mine, I thought that it tasted very dry, too confirm the fact, I had a another mouthful, still uncertain, I had a 3rd mouthful, I then cut the burger into pieces to confirm that it was very well done and dry. I ate no more, and eventually a server came over and asked me if the meal was O/K, I replied the burger was not medium rare but well done. Great location with outdoor seating. Our croquet monsieurs were very good as was the wine and espresso. The server was efficient and personable and the price was very reasonable. We enjoyed our leisurely meal and would not hesitate to return to Café Maxime.

Friendly coffee offering sandwiches, croque monsieur and a selection of crepes. All with very nice french fries. So a prefect choice for a quick snack and ideal for children.

Lovely place to sit outside in the sun and watch the world go by, whilst drinking some of their excellent coffee and reading a local paper!

Great food, excellent staff, great choice of drinks. A really great vibe in this cafe listening to music and people watching
