I found this hidden gem while searching for nearby restaurants on Google. I absolutely loved the food—especially the chicken and waffles, which were the best I've ever had (and my first time trying them!). The restaurant was clean and well-organized. I came between breakfast and lunch, so it was a bit busy, and I wasn’t sure where to sit or how to order, but the staff was very helpful in guiding me through the process. The service was excellent and efficient; I ordered two dishes, and both were ready in under 20 minutes. I also appreciated the wide variety of food options. This was my first visit, but I’ll definitely be coming back with friends!
The food was truly delightful. We enjoyed sweet crepes and strawberry cheesecake waffles, accompanied by scrambled eggs and potatoes. The waffles were sweet enough to enjoy on their own, but also complemented the strawberry cheesecake beautifully. The crepes were topped with custard, strawberry sauce, and whipped cream. While the eggs and potatoes could have used a bit more seasoning, they were cooked to perfection. We look forward to coming back to try more dishes from the menu!
If you're ever in the Ellicott city area and you're looking for a great place to sit down and grab a good bite to eat stop by the Cafe EZ . Nestled in a small business park type environment this little corner spot has Super fast service and very pleasantpeople on staff. Wifey got the Belgium waffle with bacon and home fries matched with fresh lemonade , I had the pleasure ofselecting the sausage breakfast with eggs and grits ! Outstanding job guys.

My family absolutely loves Cafe Mezcla! I've sampled several dishes, and each one is outstanding, but the Huevos Rancheros is by far the best I've ever tasted—even after living in Texas for ten years! My daughter is crazy about their crepes, especially when made fresh from scratch; her favorite is the sun-shaped crepe. The restaurant is spotless, and the staff is warm and welcoming. It's definitely our go-to breakfast place nearby!
The good was pretty good, we got some sweet crepes and strawberry cheesecake waffles with scrambed eggs and potatoes. The waffles were sweet enough to eat on their own but still good with the strawberry cheesecake, the crepes had custard, strawberrysauce, and whip cream on it. The eggs and potatoes needed some seasoning but they were cooked well. We'll definitely come backagain and try something different!
We had a wonderful experience with a gracious host and delicious food that was served promptly. I really enjoyed the smoothie and the iced dirty chai with oat milk. We're both excited to return and explore more of the tempting options on the menu. The restaurant offers vegetarian and gluten-free choices, and the staff was very accommodating, checking in with us about the ingredients in our dishes.
My family loves Cafe EZ! I've tried a few dishes, all great; but the Huevos Rancheros is the best I've had, and I spent a decade in Texas. My daughter loves her some crepes if they're made from scratch and the sundae crepe is her go to here. Very clean andfriendly... our number 1 breakfast place close to the house.

I love this place. Great local cafe with a great brunch menu. Friendly staff, and really quick service. Chicken and waffles with the Nashville hot chicken and 2 over easy eggs hits the spot. You should be able to find something for everyone's taste
