This used to be the best place to order from ! Have been a regular customer for years but not anymore after tonight. Deliver turns up all good. I open the box,family Aussie and the egg is not cooked. Yep ok that’s cool everyone makes mistakes. Call the shop tell them what’s going on yeah all cool will deliver a fresh cooked one. Awesome I say. Second pizza gets delivered and this time there is still raw egg and it’s stuck to the cardboard and we can not get it off. It gets better. I call again letting them know what’s going on and I hear very clearly one of the staff members in the back say.....f$&k them. Now do you think I’m going to eat food from people who on their customers ? Yeah......N...
When we lived in Cairnlea, we loved this store, and, now that we have moved to Deer Park, we still get to have it as delivery. They charge nothing for delivery (in selected suburbs) so long as the food is $15, and you can do the whole thing really easily on the internet. Seriously, they are a long way ahead of the major stores like Dominos or Pizza Hut for their internet site, they are cheaper, and heaps nicer. They are just the best. Worth moving to the area for.
I started ordering from cafe Oliveto since 2014 when I moved into Cairnlea and have really enjoyed their generous portions and the flavours that go into their pastas (marinara, vegetarian) and their famous $10 Monday parma’s. I’ve moved out of the area now and still no other pasta justifies from Cafe Oliveto. The owner and the staff are so pleasant and hope they are doing well because they are a good joint to get quality Italian food for you pay for.
My hubby ordered a plain old large Aussie and I had a special order of an extra creamy and over cooked Pumpkin Risotto.We took our dinner home and ate, the pizza was very thick with meat and tasted delicious.My Pumpkin Risotto was SUPERB. I rang the restaurant and spoke to the Chef that made it for me. I give credit where it is due. I recommend this restaurant any time. And you should give them a try too.Happy eating from Steve and Carol.

Great pizza, well made from base to toppings. We have tried a few different ones and never been disappointed. The Pasta is ok too, nicely cooked generous size. But I tried their Carbonara for the first time and unfortunately it was bland. I ended up adding salt, pepper and parmesan to improve the flavour. Overall though we enjoyed the food and happy to recommend.
Stuck for dinner on a Monday night? I love the $10 parmas at Cafe Oliveto! $10 will get a huge parma, chips, salad and a drink! Bargain! The parma is big
I really enjoy the pizza here and have been ordering it nearly every week since 2010. I also love the garlic prawn rice and highly recommend this place
A neat cafe in Melbourne with plenty on the menu. Nice for a hangout or even a couples dinner. Menu can be adjusted to suit your taste.
