We had seen this cafe before and wanted to give it a try the pastries in the window look amazing! Now, to be fair, we didnt realise it was vegetarian. I had a 'stuffed potato skin ' which looked lovely piled high mash with what looked like cheese on the top. It was 'stuffed ' with .....potato ! That 's it, I couldn 't really taste anything else except a few chives. Husband had vegetable lasagne, which he said was pretty tasteless also. And a cup of tea for him, smallest cappuccino ive ever seen for me over £30 !!!
This Cafe has been serving delicious vegetarian food for many years, which proves that they must be doing something right! This is a destination for fabulous lunchtime fare. There are, admittedly, better places for ‘coffee and cake’, but for lunch, this is always our destination when visiting Chichester. It is totally unpretentious, wholesome veggie food. Such a joy to be able to order anything on the menu without having to check the ingredients! Every town should have a cafe like Paradiso.
Made the mistake of going in at 4.30 when they were closing at 5. They were already taking in the pavement signs. We asked if they were closing and we were pointed told they were closing at 5. We stupidly ordered tea and pastries. The later had probably been in the window all day. The loo was also being cleaned before closure. What they should have said is 'We are going home at 5 and you can keep your money ' They call this the 'Hospitality Business '?
We were seduced by the yummy looking pastries in the window and went in for lunch. Hardly anything left despite being lunchtime, and bearing in mind it was due to be open for several more hours we thought this was surprising. What we had from what was available was okay, and we decided to get some of the aforementioned pastries to take home. Wish we hadn't bothered. So disappointing they were dry and tasteless.

Excellent service, food and atmosphere. The cafe was clean and bright which made it very attractive. We ate in the tranquil garden on a sunny Sunday afternoon after visiting the street market in Chichester. Looking forward to visiting again.
Popped in here for a drink and cake, sat in the garden with our dog dogs aren’t allowed inside). Really nice cafe, friendly staff and lots of yummy veggie food/cakes to choose from. Would definitely come back here!
This is a large vegetarian cafe. Service was abrupt and unhelpful to us. Carry your own tray despite many staff and not many customers when we were there. Pay up front, too.
Got a sumptuous chocolate &cinnamon pastry to take away, and my dog Lily got a biscuit (several biscuits, in fact! from the lovely waitress. We shall no doubt be returning.

Visited for lunch with a friend, we enjoyed the vegetarian food on offer. It has a nice atmosphere and we stayed for tea afterwards. We hope to visit again.
Here for tea and cake, ordered at counter and found a table in the garden which was really pleasant and peaceful.
