Cafe Rouge St Albans

We booked Cafe Rouge for our family members wake. Under such sad circumstances Fari the General Manager took great care of us, from booking to calling us ahead of the day to check if we needed any special dietary requirements, he thought of everything! We booked afternoon tea for everyone which came with tea and coffee refills and it was all perfect. We couldn’t believe what a beautiful building it is. Everyone was saying how impressed they were and we as a family were so pleased with how everything turned out. We will return to Cafe Rouge in St Albans, it was the most friendly and thoughtful restaurant there! Thank you Fari!

First, the staff were excellent. Very helpful and supportive when trying to pick an item off the menu. And very prompt with drinks orders. Second, the food itself was lovely. I have not eaten in a Cafe Rouge previously, and the quality with the price was very good. Overall I'd recommend a visit.

The manager of the restaurant was very friendly, efficient, and welcoming. Unfortunately, the waitress made mistakes with our orders and forgot to bring a steak knife, even after we reminded her. Despite this, the food was fantastic and the steak was cooked perfectly.

New staff to me, but the usual warm welcome, great service and atmosphere in this wonderful building. Great, friendly, service from the personable Mario. I just wish they would add a rabbit and dijon mustard dish to the menu.

Fantastic venue, great service, amazing steaks. Highly recommend. The waiter Marios really made our evening special.
